Hellraiser: Revival Announced and It’s the Opposite of What You’re Expecting
Would you believe that in 40 years, Hellraiser has yet to see a video game adaptation? Crazy, I know, which is why Saber Interactive and Boss Team have decided that now is finally a good time to get one!
If you were expecting the game to be a multplayer live service, much like Boss Team’s previous game Evil DeadL The Game, we’re glad to confirm it’s not! Hellraiser: Revival has been announced as a story-driven single-player, survival horror action game.

You Opened the Box. What Did You Expect to Happen?
Talk about an announcement out of nowhere! As mentioned, Hellraiser: Revival is entirely single-player, which will see Clive Barker, the creator of Hellraiser, returning to the franchise and assisting the studio in crafting this new story in the long-running franchise.
“Working on the first true Hellraiser game has been a venture deep into the recesses of my darkest imaginings,” said Clive Barker, horror legend and creator of Hellraiser, who has been a guiding hand for the game’s unique story in the Hellraiser universe. “The dedication that Saber and Boss Team Games have shown is nothing short of remarkable. They’ve immersed themselves in the Hellraiser universe, capturing its essence—the seductive pull of suffering, the beauty within the grotesque—and forged a narrative that invites players to step beyond the threshold. I’m eager for both the curious and the damned to experience this new chapter in the Hellraiser mythos, where every moment balances on the brink of nightmare and revelation.”
