Legendary actor, Lance Reddick sadly passed away in his home at the age of 60 in March. Reddick played multiple roles in the video game world, in games including Quantum Break, Destiny, and the Horizon series. Developer Guerrilla Games has honored the actor’s memory in Horizon Forbidden West. There’s a Horizon Forbidden West Lance Reddick memorial in the game that has been added as part of the Burning Shores DLC.

Reddick, who plays Sylens, was in both Horizon games. Guerilla confirmed the addition of the memorial site in a statement:

In honor of Lance Reddick, we created a memorial to commemorate the profound impact he had on us all.

Thank you, Lance, for everything you brought to the role of Sylens: your gravitas, energy, wisdom and more. An incomparable talent and friend. We miss you terribly.

Destiny 2 players also paid tribute to Reddick by paying the Titan Vanguard, Zavala (voiced by Reddick) a visit in game and sitting around him. Bungie said, “for now, we will honor his presence through his performances yet to come in the game, and in the memories that will last us a lifetime.”
