As part of the Season 1 extension, DICE released the Battlefield 6 version 1.1.3.5 patch, which included one of the most-requested features from the community, and it’s letting gamers choose the reticle color for their weapons.

Unfortunately, doing it isn’t as simple as choosing your scope and then choosing your reticle color. For some reason, DICE has it buried in one of the game’s settings. If you’ve fiddled around with Battlefield 6’s menus, you probably already know how convoluted it is.

MP1st is here to help with not only pointing out where to change the reticle color, but also which color are the good ones.

Battlefield 6 Reticle Color Change in Menus and Which One to Choose

To see where you can change your reticle color in Battlefield 6, head on to:

Settings > HUD > Crosshair

Under the Crosshair section, players will be able to see the “Crosshair Color” option, and this will let you customize your color via the color palette.

As to which color to choose, it’s a matter of personal preference. Given I’m colorblind, I want something that doesn’t blend with the environment much, which is why I usually pick the brightest blue.

I’d avoid yellow or brown hues, given that there are a lot of sparks, fire and explosions in the game, and I find that yellow-ish tinges blend a little too much with those. Brown is another color I think blends a tad too much with the background, but again, this is all a matter of personal preference.

Another thing to consider is changing the crosshair thickness, though this might also obstruct your view when aiming down sight (ADS). Thankfully, you can test this out in the Firing Range to see what suits you best. If you’re testing it there, don’t aim at the targets given they are colored white, which makes any color stand out. Check out the room’s walls and various items and go ADS on it to see how the color and thickness looks.

Which color do you prefer? Leave a comment and let us know.
