Original Story
Just a few days ago, we reported that NetherRealm’s latest game update for Injustice 2 caused a bit of a problem with gamers as it made their in-game gear and shaders disappear from their inventory. Today, NetherRealm has issued a new Injustice 2 patch (1.11), but it might not have fixed the problem — at least for now.
Over on the Injustice subreddit, users are saying that downloading the patch (1.11) has not resulted in the players getting their gear back.

Another user commented that while NetherRealm did say that this Injustice 2 patch will stop the deletion of gear, there’s nothing from the studio that promised that it’ll give back what was lost.
Update: a patch will be available soon that will stop the deletion of Gear. Apologies for the delay and we thank you for your patience!

Thankfully, those who didn’t download update 1.10 and went straight from 1.09 to 1.11 seems to be safe. If you didn’t download update 1.10, please don’t, and just download the latest patch to make sure you don’t lose any stuff.
We’ve reached out to NetherRealm Studios and will update the post if and when we hear back.
