Knockout City Reaches 5 Million Players, Free Trial Extends

Knockout City

In an amazing feat for a recently released game on May 21, dodgeball brawler Knockout City has reached a whopping five million players. The announcement came from publisher Electronic Arts and developer Velan Studios, as the free trial has now been extended past the Block Party event.

The ten-day Block Party event allowed players to try the game for free and level up until Street Rank 25 before being prompted to purchase the game. There is no indicated date for the end of the trial period.

Just like during Block Party, anyone who downloads the free trial will be able to progress in Street Rank, unlock cosmetics, and complete Daily Contracts, Season Contracts and start progressing toward getting those Career Contracts. All the customizations you unlock, progress you make, and Contracts you complete in the free trial will carry over when you purchase the full game. You will also be able to play League Play once you reach Street Rank 10. If you want to Crew Up with friends, or play Private Matches, the game will gently remind you that those features are available when you purchase the full game.

Knockout City is free for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and EA Play subscribers. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will also be $1 for the first three months.
