Lollipop Chainsaw Remake is now officially announced by one of its original publishers, 10 years since its original launch. The game will feature minor changes and it is expected to release in 2023.

Lollipop Chainsaw producer, Yoshimi Yasuda, broke the news earlier today in a tweet.  He revealed that Warner Bros. will in fact support the project and will remain its publisher for all regions outside of Asia.

The statement sympathizes with fans that are having difficulty playing the game, especially since the game is not available on current consoles. It also promises that the game is dear to the developers’ hearts and they are committed to bringing it back into the players’ hands.

Yasuda also reveals that the game’s remake will be done by the original staff. However, he also says that the remake will have different elements from the original title.

These elements will be out of their control. For example, they may not be able to bring back all of the 15 licensed songs in the original title.

Lollipop Chainsaw Remake is now officially announced to release sometime in 2023.
