EA Tiburon has released Madden 23 update 1.02 (PS5 version 1.002), which is for bug fixes. This patch includes a short list of fixes, which are all listed below in the official Madden 23 August 29 patch notes.

There is a Title Update available for Madden NFL 23 today. This is a planned update focusing on key fixes:
- Tuning to pass block locomotion for tackles to get deeper against edge pressure.
- Improved end game flow.
- Tuning and stability fixes.
Our team continues to monitor your feedback across all modes. More updates and improvements are coming to Madden NFL 23 around the start of the NFL Season. We will be back with a full Gridiron Notes to detail those updates.

Fantasy Draft in franchise mode needs the following updates.
Player Card Reset : when clicking on players card within the fantasy draft (to check attributes and traits) you are then auto routed back to the previous screen of the entire player pool. This creates like 3 extra steps which are absent on previous games, this results I’m not being able to get your pick off within the draft clock. You should be able to scroll through the player pool and check attributes without being exited from your spot within that position group.
Franchise Mode Fantasy Draft/Rookie Draft Sync issues :
Drafting is time consuming as we all know, nothing worst then being 40 picks and 2 hours deep into a fantasy draft and out of nowhere you and 31 other users are all disconnected from the server, then once you get back into the league the draft has somehow reverted back 30 rounds basically sending you back in time. This has never been an issue with previous maddens however there have been numerous reports that this has been occurring in many leagues within the madden community. This Copy and Paste approach has reached its tail end and the second a new developer decides to make a new football game I can see everyone jumping ship. They are doing the great late John Maddens legacy with ultimate disrespect by allowing the development of our once beloved franchise be spoiled by lazy inconsistent publishing of an unfinished, sloppy copy and paste video game. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!
