Madden 24 Update 1.18 Hits the Field for Season 7
Hut! NFL fans, EA has pushed out Madden 24 update 1.18 on last-gen platforms today, and this is to bring Season 7 content into the game. During the patch roll out, players can expect the servers to be unavailable for a limited time as maintenance is conducted. Read on for the patch notes and server downtime schedule for June 12 below.

Here’s the downtime announcement from EA:
Title Update server maintenance for Madden NFL 24 is scheduled for 6:00 AM ET tomorrow, Wednesday, June 12th.
📌 During this time, all online modes will be brought offline.
📌 MUT & Solo Battles will be gated at 5:30 AM ET.

No mention of how long the downtime is, but expect it to last for at least two hours (or possibly more). As for the incoming new stuff for Season 7, here’s the schedule for today:

This is exactly why Madden is going down hill. EA is always focused on too much MUT and not the actual gameplay of the overall game. They are money hungry and do not care about the product. The last Madden that was actually good was any Madden before MUT was introduced. They put in a gambling mechanic that promotes an addiction. That causes people to buy more of these card packs and spend more and more money when they don’t get the player or coach or stadium or even uniform they want. This has to change. I play madden for Franchise and Career mode. The codes for each game year to year have been copy and pasted to all the games. The same glitches happen in every game year after year. It is getting ridiculous. If I run into the same glitches this year, it will just prove my point.
