The Moon Knight meme, which shows the multiple-personality character shouting at the top of his lungs, demanding that Dracula give him back the money he owes, has become canon—at least in the NetEase Marvel universe that  Rivals’ Moon Knight resides in, as the game refers to the fan-created meme.

After All These Years, Dracula Still Hasn’t Paid Back Moon Knight

As spotted by Marvel Rivals players on Reddit, developers NetEase Games have decided to make the hilarious Dracula meme canon to their version of Moon Knight. When asked by Konshu, the Egyptian God of the Moon and Vengeance that grants Mark Spector his Moon Knight powers, about what Mark knew of Vampires, he responds that they suck and that Dracula owes him some money.

For those who are unaware or haven’t seen the meme, that line of money refers to a fan-created panel in which Moon Knight calls Dracula a nerd while demanding his money.

After all these years, you would think an immortal vampire like Dracula would have at least gotten a part-time job or something to pay back Moon Knight, but clearly, that hasn’t been the case.

Joking aside, this is a fun little nod to the panel, something we weren’t expecting any Marvel medium to reference, though we doubt we ever see it happen in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). Now, the bigger question is, if Morbius ever gets added to the roster, will he say his iconic line “It’s Morbin Time” several times, as in (not really, like at all) the Sony movie Morbius? We bet our vampiric ass he will.
