Marvel Rivals Spring Festival Event for Chinese New Year Kicks Off January 23

NetEase’s hit free-to-play hero shooter is launching its next event this week, celebrating the Chinese New Year (Lunar New Year). The Marvel Rivals Spring Festival event will introduce a new limited-time mode, new cosmetics, and more.
Starting at January 23 at 9 am UTC/4 am ET/1 am PT/5 pm HKT, players can expect a new limited-time mode in Clash of Dancing Lions.

What to Expect in The Spring Festival Event
Clash of Dancing Lions mode: A new limited-time entertainment mode in which teams compete in a 3v3 format on a designated map. The objective for both teams is to use their skills to gain possession of the ball and maneuver it into the scoring zones located on either side of the field. The first team to reach a predetermined score will be declared the winner.
Gallery Card customization event – Fortune & Colors: Completing tasks will reward players with limited-time items such as the Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane costume, nameplate, spray and other rewards.
New Cosmetics: Star-Lord: Lion’s Mane, Iron Fist: Lion’s Gaze, and Black Widow: Lion’s Heartbeat. (Will be released in the “coming weeks”).
NetEase also promises a game update that will include hero adjustments will be released as well.
It doesn’t end there, as the studio will also introduced a new outfit for Spidey to celebrate the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 on PC.
Available on January 30, the bundle includes the Advanced Suit 2.0 costume, nameplate, and spray.
Once the patch notes are out, expect it here on MP1st ASAP. While we already know The Thing and Human Torch will be released this season, a recent datamine spotted a few members of the X-Men that are headed to the game as well.
