Gamers can look forward to a crazy adventure ahead for Peter Quill and friends, as Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy TV spot shows Star-Lord and the team enacting Plan B — meaning there’s going to be all kinds of trouble and the heroes are going to have to come up with a plan by doing a huddle!

Here’s the brand new spot from Square Enix and Eidos Montreal, preparing us for their awesome adaptation of the cosmic heroes of the Marvel universe!

As seen in the new trailer, Star-Lord will have to gather around with Gamora, Drax, Rocket Raccoon, and Groot in a Huddle — where they assess the situation and will have to devise a strategy before proceeding with Plan B. Since players control Star-Lord and he gives out commands to his team, this motivational gameplay mechanic will determine what kind of power-ups the rest of the Guardians will receive and how that applies in taking out enemies. Also as the action amps up, players can listen to any of the 30 licensed tracks that will be a part of the game — which you can read about here as well as checking out that Star-Lord band Peter Quill takes his superhero name from.

Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy will be out for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch via cloud gaming, and PC on October 26. Stay tuned to our review hitting the site soon.
