The latest trailer of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has provided a ton of information about the new additions coming to the game. Firstly, they have added two brand new locations, effectively doubling the size of the original. Queens and Brooklyn both will be a part of the game.
The trailer also introduces web-wings which is a new gadget that allows you to float in the air without the need for constant grappling, making traversal faster and more enjoyable.
Outside of missions, players can seamlessly switch between the two main characters with a single button press, and the transition is almost instantaneous.
Unlike the original Spider-Man game where the activities were marked on the map, the sequel uses visual cues. When exploring the open world, players might come across Kraven drones circling a building or a mysterious symbol might appear in the sky, prompting players to investigate.
Completing these activities will reveal more information about the Kraven Hunter, and some will even lead to climactic boss fights against previously unseen villains.
Moreover, “A Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man” app has been added, allowing players to discover nearby points of interest and receive distress calls from people in need.
Additionally, the developers have added an impressive collection of over 65 Spider suits, each customizable in various ways, offering players over 200 suit options.
