Well, webheads, it’s been a long wait, but tomorrow will finally be the day we can get our hands on the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. But before you do any swinging, you’ll want to ensure your PC is all ready to go.
Thankfully, Insomniac Games has finally released Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC requirements, along with giving us details of what improvements will be coming along with exclusive PC features.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PC Requirements Have Arrived, Just In Time For Release
As you can see from the trailer, the PC version of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 features many new features and improvements. The most obvious ones are upscaling and frame generation support, but beyond that, we’ll be getting ultra-wide screen support along with improved visuals and ray tracing features in the PC release.
Now you might be wondering, what kind of machine will you need to run this game? Well, assuming you want 60 FPS minimum, you’ll need a rig equipped with at least an RTX 3060 or RX 5700 GPU and either an Intel i5-8400 or a Ryzen 5 3600. Granted, it’s at medium and at 1080P, but at least the frame performance is within reason. Of course, if you want to push the visuals even further, you’ll have to check out the chart below to see exactly what you’ll need.

You’ll need a pretty demanding system if you plan on playing on any of the ray tracing presets, with the “ultimate ray tracing” recommending an RTX 4090 with no AMD equivalent. We’d assume those planning on buying an RTX 5090 later this week will be just fine running this game.
