Metal Gear Solid Delta Online Multiplayer Mode “Fox Hunt” Arrives October 30; Here’s What Time It Unlocks
Announced during the Tokyo Game Show this year, Metal Gear Solid Delta’s Online Multiplayer Mode, “Fox Hunt,” has finally been given a release date, as well as some new details.
Suit up, because the hunt begins on October 30, and we even have the exact time when it will be available.
Commencing Operation Fox Hunt
A free update is coming to Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater on October 30, 2025, and it’s bringing back multiplayer mode to the franchise. However, instead of being a brand-new Metal Gear Online, Konami is taking its multiplayer in a new direction, with a newly created mode called “Fox Hunt.” Details on the mode can be found below.
Survive until the end:
Join the covert unit ‘FOX’ as a candidate member and participate in survival-style training missions. Survive by procuring weapons and equipment in the field.
Two types of game modes will be available with up to 12 players.
Survival Capture:
A tense, multi-phase mission where victory hinges on capturing the elusive Kerotan frogs. Their numbers dwindle as the match progresses, forcing players into intense clashes as they race to secure each frog and outlast their opponents.
Survival Intrude:
A high-pressure mission where players must hold their ground inside a designated zone to progress through each phase. As the match advances, the number of zones shrinks, making stealth and positioning even more critical.
Experience authentic stealth tactics with “AT-CAMO” and “Naked Sense.” Each player is equipped with an AT-CAMO suit as standard gear, allowing them to instantly deploy a full-body suit that changes camouflage patterns to suit different scenarios—whether evading pursuit, launching surprise attacks, or infiltrating.
Detect enemies and items using Naked Sense, an action that detects enemy presence and item locations.
Progressively detect and pinpoint threats in your vicinity with a unique search technique
- Sharpens your senses to search your surroundings for enemies and supplies.
- Activating it over a long period of time could be risky as it will drain the player’s stamina.
- An alert will show when a nearby player activates it. Swiftly hide to avoid detection.
Your mission: survive until the end
- A multiplayer PvP where you team up in pairs and play with up to 12 players.
- Fight to survive in 3 types of fields, including the jungle. 2 types of mission rules are available, selected at random for every match.
- Those who failed to complete the objective during each phase will be removed from the mission.
