Microsoft Xbox 20th Anniversary Controller Announced

Microsoft Xbox
Xbox fans and collectors are getting something cool to play with soon, as Microsoft has revealed the Xbox 20th anniversary controller, and it’s being targeted for a November release with a price tag of about $69.99.

To commemorate two decades of Xbox and the legacy of the console, Microsoft has commissioned a new translucent green Xbox wireless controller — which pays tribute to the original console that launched with the same look back in 2001.

Celebrate 20 years of Xbox with the Xbox Wireless Controller – 20th Anniversary Special Edition in classic black with green touches that go back to the beginning, and so much more. Travel through time with the green and translucent black controller colors to the moment the original, translucent green Xbox console launched. Look through the translucent black top to see interior silver details representing 20 years of Xbox technology carried forward.*

Complete with improved ergonomics as well as a custom D-Pad and the original Xbox logo, the 20th anniversary controller will be available starting on November 15. Pre-orders are now being accepted by Microsoft and you can check out the details on that here.

In other news, the Microsoft Store is adding game accessibility features for Xbox and you can read about that here.
