Minecraft Down as Server Issues Plague Online Game This July 2
Those trying to log into to Minecraft but having issues authenticating the servers and logging in, it’s not just you, as the Minecraft servers are down, and it has all to do with Microsoft’s on-going server woes for Xbox Live this July 2.

While Microsoft has already issued a few statements on Xbox’s server issues, it seems Minecraft is affected even on PC. Developer Mojang has gone on Twitter to confirm that the Xbox Live issues is affecting their authentication services.

I honestly have no clue why Minecraft’s single-player portion can’t be played offline. I mean, if you want to check out new stuff, buy stuff in-game, that’s fine. It’s offline, so it won’t work. But the game itself should work offline for the single-player part, right?

On PS5 also can NOT get on-line and it won’t let me sign in with Microsoft. It’s been down since 5pm EST.
