Modern Warfare 2 Beta: Devs Working on Tweaks to Increase Lobbies Staying Together, Taking Action Against Cheaters

Hate that lobbies disband in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 beta? Infinity Ward has said that they are implementing tweaks, so that the chances of lobbies staying together will be higher.

This announcement was made over on the studio’s Twitter, where the devs also shared that they are taking action against cheaters and hackers this weekend!

Tomorrow, we’ll begin taking live action against cheaters and hackers in Beta matches.

We’ve heard a lot of you on disbanding lobbies. We’re working on a few tweaks to increase the chance of lobbies staying together, and improving the UI when it happens.

Hopefully, we get more updates to the beta client that will change the Perk Package system, and maybe revert the gun progression to how it was before. But these are just my opinion on it so far.
