In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, one of the (or worst depending on whom you ask) best things about the mobility was being able to slide cancel for an added burst of speed. While Infinity Ward made a conscious effort to omit it from Modern Warfare 2, it seems it hasn’t take, as players in the beta has already found a way to do the Modern Warfare 2 slide cancel.
Over on Twitter, user @ItsObesitys has found a way to do the Modern Warfare 2 slide cancel, though it’s lot harder to do it now.

As you can see from the explanation, it’s definitely not an easy thing to do, though it’s not super hard, either. That said, this is a beta, and with Infinity Ward making a concerned effort to remove this accidental feature out, expect the studio to patch these slide cancel exploits as it’s found.
