It’s no secret that almost any online multiplayer game will have its fair share of cheaters ruin everyone else’s fun. But this time, this is something new, as the Modern Warfare 3 beta already has cheaters even if it’s only available on PlayStation consoles (PS4, PS5).

While some have said that this is done via jailbroken PS4 consoles, we disagree with that sentiment. According to one of our staffer who’s been following the hacking scene, as of now, there are no supported public jailbreak firmware that allow online access, on both he PS4 and PS5. They’re speculation is that this may instead be a developer kit running a modified package of the beta.
Hopefully, this is nipped in the bud by Sledgehammer and Activision, as nothing can ruin someone’s online gaming fun faster than cheaters, and we all know how Activision takes these things very, very seriously.
