Monster Hunter Rise PlayStation, Xbox Release Set for January 20

Monster Hunter Rise Console Release

After almost two years since its original release on the Nintendo Switch, Capcom’s releasing Monster Hunter Rise on PlayStation and Xbox devices this January 20. This comes a little over a year after the PC release.

The high-flying entry to the Monster Hunter series is now opening the gates of Kamura Village to players on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, and PlayStation®4 on Jan. 20, 2023. Monster Hunter Rise preorders are open now, and the title will also be available with Xbox Game Pass for console, PC and cloud at launch.

Aside from launching in both Xbox and PlayStation consoles, MH Rise will also be available on the Xbox Game Pass, so subscribers of the pass can add the game to their devices, whether it be an Xbox or PC. It supports 4K at 60 FPS for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows, too, giving you smooth gameplay and high-quality graphics.

Currently, only the base game is set to arrive this January. MH Rise’s major DLC expansion, Sunbreak, is slated for a Spring 2023 release, so owners of the game will have to wait a little more before they get to enjoy all the new content updates that come with it.
