Update #1: According to Netherrealm, the planned patch scheduled to be released today has been delayed as they continue to look into Mortal Kombat 1 server issues.

“Unfortunately, due to the unexpected server issues we encountered today, we need to push today’s planned patch deployment until early next week. We want to focus on server stability before we enter the weekend. Apologies for any inconvenience this may cause.”

The official Mortal Kombat 1 X (formerly Twitter) account confirmed this, citing that the servers have entered maintenance mode to fix some unforeseen issues.
