NetherRealm Studios has released Mortal Kombat 1 update 1.002.003 on all platforms, and it’s the first one of the year! Read on for the MK1 new update today’s patch notes.

General Fixes & Adjustments

• Fixed a desync that occurs during Kombat League sets.
• Adjusted the timing of the match found audio cue.

At the time, NetherRealm Studios has yet to publish any patch notes around this update, either on social feeds or in-game. However, it’s likely this update is to prepare the game for the upcoming release of Kameo release of Khameleon, who drops January 16. 

We did notice that Khameleon has been added to the Kameo roster menu (locked,) though we’re unsure fi this was something added with the last update that brought Quan-chi.

If the NetherRealm Studios releases any notes or we spot anything from the community, we’ll be sure to update the story. For now, assume this is to add support for the upcoming DLC Kameo.
