Naraka: Bladepoint and NieR Crossover Incoming, Find Out What it Brings

Square Enix and NetEase have unveiled the upcoming Naraka: Bladepoint and NieR crossover, combining the popular martial arts battle royale game with the acclaimed action RPG series. The collaboration focuses on two games of the NieR series, namely NieR: Automata (2017) and NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 (2021), overlooking the original game that started it all, and the mobile exclusive NieR: Re[in]carnation. The crossover is slated to launch on August 9, 2023 and below you can find details on everything that it brings.

The Naraka: Bladepoint and NieR collaboration was introduced via the terrific and lengthy cinematic which you can watch below. There’s also a pretty in-depth look into some of the content coming with the crossover, from the gorgeous outfits to weapon skins.

The highlight for Naraka: Bladepoint players who may happen to be NieR fans as well is the introduction of outfits from the latter. These hero outfits are coming to the store, check them out here: 2B for Viper Ning, 9S for Wuchen, A2 for Justina Gu, Kainé for Tessa, and Nier for Yueshan (this one from the Spectral Silk Store). 2B and 9S are coming on August 9, while the others will release at a later date. There’s a mention to a surprise bonus outfit, but the conditions to claim remain a secret as well. NieR-themed weapon skins are also coming to the store.

Playing the new in-game event starting on August 9 may earn you the following rewards: a Replicant-Moonrise longsword legendary skin, headwear, a background, and more. Check what else is coming in the image below.

Naraka Bladepoint and NieR Crossover Details

Naraka: Bladepoint turned free-to-play in July 13, 2023, and the already healthy player base pretty much doubled from one day to the other. This collaboration is surely going to make even more players interested in giving the popular battle royale game a go – with no entry barrier and nearly 100,000 players daily, it sounds like a very interesting prospect.
