New Dead Cells DLC “Return to Castlevania” Features Collab With Cult Classic, Releasing Q1 2023

Dead Cells DLC

Dead Cells just announced its latest DLC, titled “Return to Castlevania.” As the title suggests, it’s a collaboration DLC with the popular Castlevania franchise. Here’s the animated trailer for the upcoming Dead Cells DLC.

This surprising collaboration was likely teased as early as July earlier this year. The 2022 roadmap released during that time hinted at a “surprise” for Winter 2022, but nobody could have expected a collab like this.

Dead Cells and Castlevania are forging an unexpected crossover in Dead Cells: Return To Castlevania. The teaser trailer showed Dracula, Alucard, and Richter together. The DLC is expected to release Q1 2023.

Dead Cells has been around for years now, and the game still receives regular updates. In fact, the roadmap posted earlier this year mentions that 2023 would be “the most exciting year in Dead Cells’ history,” so there’s a lot to look forward to as a Dead Cells fan.

While we don’t have an exact release date just yet, the game is currently slated for a Q1 2023 launch.
