A new Final Fantasy 16 trailer has arrived. The trailer gives us a deeper look at the world of Final Fantasy 16, highlighting various kingdoms, with each of them having a different theme. Both Clive and Joshua make an appearance in the trailer, and Joshua summons Phoenix again. Check out the latest Final Fantasy trailer below:

Unfortunately, the trailer only taps a little into the game’s storyline. However, it is seen from the trailer that several kingdoms showcased are at war as they are all fighting to claim the fading light of the crystals. Crystals have been a part of the Final Fantasy lore, but haven’t been a part of all the games in the series. It looks like Square Enix has decided to bring the crystals back and make them a major part of Final Fantasy 16’s story.

Much like the Silent Hill 2 Remake announced yesterday, Final Fantasy 16 will launch as a timed exclusive for PS5 and PC. Square Enix hasn’t given an official release date as of yet, but the game is slated for a 2023 release.
