A new Mortal Kombat 1 trailer has just been released, with NetherRealm Studios also showcasing some gameplay of the upcoming fighting game. This new trailer feature the Lin Kuei, a faction dedicated to defending Earthrealm.

In the new trailer, we see two of the franchise’s most popular Lin Kuei members in Scorpion and Sub-Zero, as well as the return of characters such as Smoke. Liu Kang, now known as the Fire God, tasks the Lin Kuei to help protect Earthrealm.
Alongside a trailer, NetherRealm Studios also hosted Kombat Kast, a dev livestream featuring upcoming content from the MK series. This latest Kombat Kast featured a new intro, which includes new intro animations for various MK1 characters.

In the Kombat Kast livestream, the devs showcased various gameplay mechanics in Mortal Kombat 1, such as the Cameo system, which gives players a variety of moves via secondary characters to suit their preferred playstyle. You can watch that bit of the livestream here:
