There’s a new game set in the Aliens universe coming to consoles, PC, and VR platforms. According to developer Survios, the game is an “intense single-player, action horror game set in the iconic Alien universe.”

Based on the game’s official website, the new Aliens game will feature an original storyline. It is set between the original Alien and the sequel film, Aliens, where a battle-hardened veteran has a vendetta against the Xenomorphs.

The game is a collaboration between Survios and 20th Century Games. Survios says the game will take advantage of Survios’ “expertise in creating immersive and authentic gaming experiences,” and is being built on Epic’s Unreal Engine 5.

That’s all the information they have revealed for now, as Survios says they will do a full-length presentation about their upcoming game at the San Diego Comic-Con panel Alien: Expanding a Dark and Frightening Universe on July 21.

This announcement of Survios’ Aliens project follows of another game in the franchise, Aliens: Dark Descent, announced last month. Looks like Aliens fans have a lot to look forward to!
