Good news, Switch gamers! Nintendo has announced a new Nintendo Direct livestream set for June 21, running for roughly 40 minutes as usual and explicitly featuring new information about Pikmin 4. The livestream will begin airing tomorrow at 7am PT/10am ET/10pm HKT.

The last Nintendo Direct took place on February 8, notably showing off new Tears of the Kingdom gameplay, as well as a new Pikmin 4 trailer along with its release date announcement. Pikmin 4 drops on the Switch on July 21, so a more detailed gameplay overview can be expected at tomorrow’s Nintendo Direct along with pre-order information.
As per the press release, Nintendo will be focusing on games releasing in 2023, so it’s likely the upcoming Risk of Rain remake (slated for release this year) will have some presence at the event, though this is merely conjecture on our part.
