Official Xbox Wireless Headset Revealed, Doesn’t Require a Dongle

It looks like Microsoft is entering the gaming accessory market in a big way as the official Xbox Wireless Headset has been revealed today, and this thing packs a wallop in terms of features! Priced at just $99, the headset will be available this March 16.

The official Xbox Wireless Headset can be used on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows 10 PCs. It will also work on mobile devices via Bluetooth, and nope, it won’t require dongles! No cables or dongles are required, and you can even simultaenously pair the headset to your phone and Xbox!

As for battery life, Microsoft claims that 30 minutes of charging can provide up to four hours of battery life, with only three hours of charging to reach up to 15 hours of battery life when it’s not in use.
