Blizzard has just announced a new Legendary skin for Overwatch 2’s Bastion that’s themed around the holidays. The Gingerbread Bastion skin gives the hero a tasty exterior with sweets, cookies, and other colorful ornaments from head to toe. 

The skin technically isn’t free, as you’ll need to buy it with one Overwatch Coin. Overwatch Coins are a premium currency, so the only way you’ll be able to get some is by doing weekly challenges or by redeeming Microsoft Reward Points. Since it only costs one coin, you won’t need to do too much grinding in order to get the Gingerbread skin, which is something I gather Overwatch players will appreciate.

The skin won’t be available forever, though—you can only purchase it until January 2. Logging in before January 2 will also net you some free rewards, however, so there’s more than one reason to at least run a game or two. If you’re prepared for a grind, you can complete the holiday challenges to earn a free skin.

Log into Overwatch 2 now through January 2 to get a special gift from the team. Just by opening the game, players will receive the Festive Wreath weapon charm and the 2023 player icon. Stick around and complete special, holiday challenges to earn even more free rewards—including the Ice Queen Epic Brigitte skin.
