PlayStation Plus PS5 Collection Discontinues Tomorrow; Persona 5 Reportedly Available to Some Members

playstation plus collection removed ps5

In case you missed it, the PlayStation Plus Collection deal, an exclusive selection of games that’s free to claim for PS Plus subscribers, will be discontinued starting May 9, tomorrow. This means that it’s your last chance to add the games from the collection to your library if you haven’t done so already. The discontinuation of the collection was announced last February.

For those unfamiliar with the PlayStation Plus Collection, it’s a catalog of PS4 games that users can claim on PS5 consoles. Here’s the full list of games:

  • Batman: Arkham Knight
  • Battlefield 1
  • Bloodborne
  • Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 – Zombies Chronicles Edition
  • Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy
  • Days Gone
  • Detroit: Become Human
  • Fallout 4
  • Final Fantasy 15 Royal Edition
  • God of War
  • Infamous: Second Son
  • The Last Guardian
  • The Last of Us Remastered
  • Monster Hunter World
  • Mortal Kombat X
  • Ratchet & Clank
  • Resident Evil 7
  • Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End
  • Until Dawn

It’s worth noting that some users have claimed that Persona 5 is available to them via the PlayStation Plus Collection, though not everyone seems to have this offer (via Resetera), so keep that in mind.

To claim the PS Plus Collection games, you’ll need to access them via your PS5 console, not via the official store website or a PS4, as the deal is only available on the PS5. Simply head to the PS Plus tabs, head to the Benefits section, and scroll down until you find the PlayStation Plus Collection tab. There, you’ll find the full list of games to download. You don’t need to actually download the games to keep them; simply select the option to add the games to your library and they’re yours.

Again, if you haven’t claimed these games yet, you might want to start firing up your PS5 ASAP before it’s gone tomorrow. Enjoy your free games!
