PUBG PS4 Version Spotted in Korea Ratings Board

While PlayerUnkown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) has been available for the PC and Xbox One, it’s still not playable on the world’s console with the highest player installed base, the PlayStation 4.  Well, it seems the PUBG PS4 version will be announced soon if this recent finding is to be believed.

Twitter user Nibelion has spotted a PUBG PS4 version rated in Korea, which you can see below.

Of course, this doesn’t make it official, but don’t be surprised if we hear an announcement soon. The bigger question is: will PS4 gamers care? With the platform now home to Epic Games’ hugely successful Fortnite, and with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 offering its own brand of battle royale, is there space for PUBG on PS4? Given how the developer of PUBG is even temporarily downgrading the graphics on the Xbox One X just to make sure the frame rate drops are mitigated, that might be a hard pill to swallow to some given how smooth and fantastic PUBG’s competitors play and look.

If you’re a PS4 owner, do you even care that PUBG is coming to the PS4?
