PUBG Xbox Player Count Surpasses 4 Million, Players to Get In-Game Reward to Celebrate

No one really doubted that PUBG would be successful on Xbox. After shattering records on PC, and continuing to entertain millions of players each day, it was only a matter of time before the battle royale beast started smashing milestones on console.

To celebrate surpassing four million players on Xbox, Bluehole will be giving all Xbox players an in-game gift. This will come in the form of 30,000 Battle Points, which can be used to purchase loot boxes.

The 30,000 BP will be provided to any Xbox players who own the game and has created a character before January 31 at 12 a.m. PT. So yes, this will likely bring in even more players, and boost the Xbox player count to even greater heights!

Here are the details straight from Xbox:

Anyone who has purchased or purchases PUBG on Xbox One and has created a character before January 31 at 12AM PST will receive this bonus, so if you’ve been waiting to jump onto the island, now is the perfect time to become a part of our growing community on console. Bonus Battle Points will be delivered and appear directly in players BP accounts (right below their gamertag) after February 1, 2018 at 12AM PT.

What do you make of PUBG‘s success on Xbox? Feel it was inevitable? It is deserved? Let us know.

In other PUBG news, Xbox has said that sales for the console version are “very big,” netcode analysis shows that the game has a big problem, and the Battle Royale Trainer is here to help players improve.
