As we reported last weekend, you can now use real life money to unlock things in PopCap HD’s shooter, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, with the addition of in-game microtransactions.
Garden Warfare players can now pick between four different payment options to purchase in-game coins by pressing “X” on the sticker pack menu. You can check out the prices below:
- $0.99 USD for 13, 500 PvZ coins
- $1.99 USD for 30,000 PvZ coins
- $4.99 USD for 85,000 PvZ coins
- $9.99 USD for 200,000 PvZ coins
However, those who wish to unlock everything through these coins will find that they will still have to actually play the game in order to access items like level 10 character variants. Otherwise, it appears that all other customization items are fair game.
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is available now for the Xbox 360 and Xbox One platforms, with PC users getting their hands on it June 24.
