Rainbow Six Siege Concurrent Players Reach All-Time High, Missing R6 Credits Issue Recognized by Ubisoft

Given how most games flame out after just a year from release, it’s definitely surprising how well Ubisoft’s Rainbow Six Siege has managed to maintain — and even gain — its momentum. Interestingly enough, the Rainbow Six Siege concurrent players count have now reached an all-time high, even! Yes, close to three years after release!

According to SteamCharts, Rainbow Six Siege has now reached a new all-time high peak of over 176,000 concurrent players yesterday! Reddit user Trogadorr summed it up quite nicely.

Worth noting:

  • In March 2017 the average player count was 47,000, meaning the new player count is almost four times as many players as last year.
  • In March 2016 the average player count was 30,000, meaning a new player count of just over five times as two years ago.
  • At launch in December 2016 when you would expect the game’s highest player numbers, the average player count was just 20,000, meaning an eight times increase in maximum player count.

Note that this Rainbow Six Siege player count total is only for Steam, and doesn’t include the users playing via UPlay, which makes it even more impressive.

Additionally, Ubisoft posted an announcement addressing the missing R6 Credits after the deployment of the Operation Chimera content.
