Capcom has released (Resident Evil 4) RE4 update 1.100 on all platforms, and this is for the Separate Ways DLC drop featuring Ada Wong, and also an update to the base game via a free Mercenaries mode content drop. Read up on what’s new in the RE4 patc notes for September 21 below.

- New stages and characters have been added to the extra game, “The Mercenaries.”
Balancing adjustments have been made to scoring, item drops, and time bonus rates for existing characters. - “Separate Ways” is now available for purchase.
Play as Ada Wong in this additional story paid DLC to experience the game’s events from her perspective and fill in lingering questions from the main story. - Miscellaneous bug fixes.
While Capcom hasn’t released the official patch notes just yet, we do know this is for the Separate Ways DLC alongside the free Mercenaries update (via Steam and Capcom’s press release).

“The Mercenaries” is a free DLC available to owners of Resident Evil 4, which offers another type of survival experience to players.
Per the PS4’s update history:

Synopsis of Separate Way via Capcom:
In Separate Ways, Ada Wong travels to a lonely and rural part of Europe to infiltrate a village controlled by the religious group known as Los Iluminados. Under orders from Albert Wesker, Ada is assigned to obtain the cult’s darkest secret: a mysterious material known as “the Amber.” Her operation intertwines with Leon S. Kennedy’s search for the president’s missing daughter, providing an alternate perspective on the main story that uncovers events that unfold behind the scenes.
Alongside the highly acclaimed gunplay, combat, and knife mechanics of Resident Evil 4, Separate Ways introduces an additional feature to the experience that takes the fast-paced action to exciting new heights. For this exhilarating mission, Ada is armed with a Grappling Gun that can be used to swing across chasms, make rapid ascents, and plunge into the depths below. She can also wield the device in combat to take on enemies in close quarters and launch into melee takedowns from a distance.
