The upcoming Remnant 2 expansion The Awakened King will feature a new DLC Archetype. This Archetype, known as “The Ritualist,” boasts potent magical abilities and a mastery of status effects that can aid you in your fight.

Here are all of the new Archetype’s abilities:
Remnant 2 Ritualist Abilities
- Vile – Their Prime Perk, “Vile”, makes enemies more susceptible to Status Damage and spreads their statues to nearby enemies upon death.
- Eruption – Using “Eruption”, the Ritualist detonates nearby enemies and adds insult to injury by dealing bonus damage to those already suffering from Status Effects.
- Miasma – To thin the herd, unleashing “Miasma” instantly applies Bleeding, Burning, Overloaded, and Corroded to all enemies within range.
- Deathwish – Lastly, “Deathwish” curses the Ritualist themselves. It forgoes standard healing and causes constant health drain but grants a heavy damage buff and substantial lifesteal.
The Ritualist will be unlockable through gameplay, though developer Gunfire Games doesn’t want to spoil the surprise. Until the DLC is out, the secret to unlocking the new Archetype will be kept under wraps.
This character looks fun to play. The magic-heavy gameplay mixed with the frenetic gunfire nature of Remnant 2 is sure to be an engaging pairing. The DLC will also feature new areas, items, and bosses to help freshen up the gameplay, so all in all, it’s a great package.
Remnant 2: The Awakened King DLC will be available November 14 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
