Following news that Netflix is entering the video game industry soon, looks like Netflix might be doing something gaming related with PlayStation as a dataminer recently uncovered some images showcasing some PlayStation products in the Netflix app, along with what appears to be Netflix’s gaming features.
As posted by miner Steve Moser, the images down below shows off two DualSense controller, Ghost of Tsushima, along with a Netflix Game logo, and what he claims to be the working icon for their game feature, Shark.
Netflix’s gaming feature has a current working name of “Shark” and is represented by this image in their iOS app: a shark fin. He then followed up with a clearer picture of the Netflix Game logo.
Ah, twitter’s white image background bites me again. Here is the “N Game” logo. $NFLX pic.twitter.com/7STZYQ6I7m

Though nothing is official yet, there have been reports over the last few months that Netflix has been preparing to launch a new game related service, similar to that of Apple Arcade and Xbox Game Pass subscription service. Of course that is just a rumor, though if this datamine information is indeed true, it could be indicative that Sony may be playing a role in it.
Last April, Sony and Netflix signed licensing deal where Netflix would be given first access to new releases after their theatrical releases. Films included were Morbius, Uncharted, Where the Crawdads Sing, Bullet Train, along with sequels to the Spider-verse movie and the upcoming Spider-man movie.
It’s not out of the question that Sony may be looking to extend this even further with gaming, though one does have to wonder if that is the case what this means for PlayStation Now.
Of course. given this is datamined info, take it with a grain of salt. Hopefully we hear more on this real soon.
Thanks, Reddit!
