Report: New Fortnite First-Person Screenshots Leaked

fortnite first-person

Last year, in June, images from a Fortnite with a twist were found in a datamine. The twist was that Fortnite was in first-person. Since then, Epic Games hasn’t officially announced the first-person mode but new Fortnite first-person mode images have surfaced today.

The Fortnite first-person screenshots are with an SMG, a sniper, a red-eye assault rifle, and an MK-Alpha assault rifle. See them here:

Originally, the camera angle was found by a known Fortnite player and credible dataminer, Hypex on Twitter. The tweet claimed that the camera mode was first introduced to the game’s code with the most recent update in 2022, which made people presume that it would come sometime in the next season.

However, it has been a year since those images and datamine surfaced, and we still haven’t seen any acknowledgment about Fortnite’s first-person mode by Epic Games. Safe to say that it’s almost impossible to predict when this mode will make its way to the game for all players.

The new screenshots do suggest that Epic Games is still working on it and plans to implement it sometime in the future.

Thanks, pringle!
