If you thought that Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs were larger than the previous generation, think again. Recent leaks of RTX 4090 Ti images reveal that the GPU is much larger than the regular 4090, at least vertically.

These images from @Zed__Wang on Twitter show you just how big of a beast the 4090 Ti is. Take a look:

You’ll notice that the Founder’s Edition of the 4090 Ti has a whopping four slots, which means that it’ll take up a lot more space in your PC case than other 40 series GPUs. For reference, the RTX 4090 Founder’s Edition only uses three slots, as you can see below.

It’s also worth noting the vertical arrangement of the ports, which may make it easier or more difficult to do a multi-monitor setup depending on how you arrange things at home. Known hardware leaker kopite7kimi also revealed the specs of the 4090 Ti in a tweet, which are as follows:

  • RTX 4090 Ti
  • PG136/139-SKU310
  • 18176FP32
  • 96M L2
  • 24Gbps 24G GDDR6X
  • total board power ~600W

There is still much more details yet known about the card, such as whether or not it’ll support HDMI 2.1, much like their rival AMD does with their current 7000 series cards, as well as pricing, which we assume will be pushing it close to that $2000 MSRP. Not to mention the additional unknown specs, and how much of a price to performance it’ll have compared to the 4090. Let’s hope we aren’t that far away from an official announcement.
