Chalk up another premature announcement due to time differences, as Ubisoft Japan’s YouTube has accidentally leaked the Star Wars Outlaws release date, and it’s set for August 30!
In case you didn’t know, Ubisoft will premiere a new trailer for Star Wars Outlaws later today, and it seems the release date was part of it. The video, which has now been made private, mentions the August 30 date.
Given who leaked the info, this seems as official as it can be without an official announcement. We’re expecting the trailer later today to showcase more gameplay for the action game, and of course, a release date tacked at the end.
If true, then the rumors that Outlaws is targeting a “late 2024” release seems to be false, though I’m not surprised given how game development and release dates always change while the game’s brewing. If you haven’t checked the game in action yet, go watch the gameplay trailer released previously, which looks damn amazing.
