One of Bandai Namco’s next big hitters will be Tekken 8, another chapter in the legendary fighting series. Many players are already eager for the upcoming Unreal Engine 5-powered brawler, but as it happens with every game of the genre, there’s a natural excitement surrounding the fighters that will be up to the challenge. But don’t worry, we got you covered: a big part of the Tekken 8 roster leaked through Cheat Engine, a freeware tool that is mostly used for cheating in computer games.

As any player familiar with the Tekken series knows, there are some recognizable faces in this list. However, that doesn’t mean it will be the final roster for Tekken 8, as this leak comes from a recent build and the game is yet far from its expected release date sometime in 2024. You can easily spot the absence of Kuma, and since franchise director Katsuhiro Harada promised a larger roster than the one from Street Fighter 6 at the time of launch, those names are bound to grow.

Tekken 8 is in development for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. It will feature crossplay and rollback netcode for a smoother experience. The game had a closed network test running from July 21 through July 24, but there’s no official release date yet.
