Returnal PC Version Won’t Feature Crossplay, File Size and System Requirements Surface

At this year’s The Game Awards, Sony announced what’s probably one of the worst kept secrets in gaming, and that’s Returnal is headed to PC! For those picking the game up and thinking of playing with their PS5 friends, we’re here to be the bearer of bad news that it’s now confirmed that the Returnal PC version won’t feature crossplay with its PS5 sibling.

This was confirmed in the game’s Steam page where the following note was added in the game’s features list:

**** The Tower of Sisyphus, House sequences and Challenge Mode are not available in Co-op Mode. Cross-play with players on PlayStation®5 consoles is not supported.

In addition to that, the Steam page has also revealed the Returnal PC system requirements! Players will need to clear up around 60GB of disk space to run the game, with the recommended and minimum requirements listed below.

Processor: Intel Core i5-6400 (4 core 2.7GHz) AMD Ryzen 5 1500X (4 core 3.5GHz)

Storage: 60 GB available space
