Rumor: EA Working on Another Marvel Game in Addition to Black Panther

EA marvel game

Last week, we heard from industry insider Jeff Grubb in a Giant Bomb podcast that EA and Marvel are joining forces to create a new single-player open-world Black Panther game. Following that rumor, today, Jeff Grubb revealed on a Game Mess Mornings podcast that publisher EA is working on another Marvel single-player game apart from Black Panther.

While discussing the projects EA had currently in development Jeff said:

“…in addition, obviously, they’re (EA) also making the Black Panther game we talked about last week. And, uh, they’re (EA) making another Marvel game that’s single-player…”

You can watch the full clip where Jeff mentions the game here:

This time Grubb didn’t give out any details of which Marvel character or group the game will be based on. He also didn’t reveal the project lead or anything else about the development team. However, it seems like EA has signed a partnership with Marvel similar to Crystal Dynamics’, where they developed multiple Marvel games, including Marvel’s Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy. Keep in mind to take these rumors with a grain of salt, as nothing is confirmed until an official announcement is made.
