Rumor: Nintendo Switch 2 Development Now ‘Complete,’ With Release Set for March or April 2025
A new rumor suggests that the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 is ready for release, with a launch window set for March or April 2025. According to information shared by Ruben Mercado, CEO of Blade Representaciones S.L, the console’s development is ‘complete,’ and his company has already received final units of the hardware.
Mercado announced on the Vandal Radio podcast that Nintendo plans to launch the Switch 2 in March or April. They have not confirmed the exact date yet, as they are monitoring sales trends in the final months of the fiscal year. The expected price range for the Switch 2 is between $400 and $500, making it pricier than its predecessor but still more affordable compared to current Sony consoles.
He also shared that the new Joy-Con controllers will feature an innovative magnetic locking system, which will keep them firmly attached to the console. Mercado also stated that they have redesigned the analog sticks, which will differ from those in the current Switch models.
Additional rumors suggest that the battery life of the new console will be significantly improved, and it may include backward compatibility features. Moreover, photos of Switch 2 factory prototypes have already leaked, revealing an 8-inch screen and 12GB LPDDR5X-7500 memory.

I just hope that whenever the Switch 2 releases they have enough and don’t have to worry about scalpers and selling out of available units like the PS5.
