Sci-Fi Action-RPG “Exodus” Releases April 7, 2027
For those jonesin’ for something similar to the Mass Effect franchise, your best bet right now is Exodus, a new sci-fi action-RPG in development at Archetype Entertainment– a studio comprised of former BioWare developers.
Today, during Gamescom Opening Night Live, the studio confirmed the release date for the RPG as April 7, 2027.
Not only that, but we also get a new cinematic trailer that features a new character in Salt.

Confirmed Launch Date: EXODUS will make its galactic arrival on April 7, 2027.

Salt Spotlighted: Piloting a specialized combat mech, Salt is a master of long-range sniping, quick evasive maneuvers, and ink-like smokescreens that confuse and disorient enemies. She thrives where others can’t, and in the middle of a fight, no one quite has Jun’s back like she does.

Keep an Eye out for Emrys: Salt isn’t the only one fighting alongside Jun. Emrys, a member of the Deva, an enigmatic Celestial species defined by many consciousness, also joins the fight.

Emrys plays support, launching Remnant Orbs that drain and weaken enemies while feeding the stolen power back into Jun as protection.
As we head later on in the year and to 2027, expect a lot more coverage of Exodus here on MP1st.
This looks to be the next big action-RPG franchise, and we’re looking forward to seeing more of it.
