Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition Announced, Releasing for PSVR2 in 2023

ILMxLab have announced an enhanced edition of their virtual reality experience Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge, releasing for the PSVR2 on PS5 in 2023!

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition is set on the Outer Rim planet Batuu, and features appearances from fan-favorite characters and franchise mainstays like R2-D2, C-3PO, and even the legendary Yoda. The game follows a droid repair technician that crash-lands on Batuu following an attack by the Guavian Death Gang, and cinematically tells its story through exposition and interaction with in-game characters.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge was originally released for the Oculus Quest and the Oculus Quest 2 in 2020.

While there’s no release date set yet, Sony has confirmed that the PSVR2 will make its way to retail in “early 2023.”
