PC players attempting to log into Steam today are reporting that the servers are down, as logins are hanging, with the storefront even showing that there’s no online connection. The platform has been having issues for the last 24 hours, and it seems to have now crashed for nearly everyone.

So if you’re having issues, you’re not alone.

Steam Down This October 7 Updates:

It looks like the Steam storefront is down for thousands of users, as reports have begun flooding in on socials such as Reddit, and X. On Downdetector, reports have seen a massive spike, with over 30,000 users reporting issues. We ourselves can confirm that the store is having issues, with the page displaying nothing and saying that we have no internet connection. Those who have it working are also reporting extremely slow load times and disconnections.

No official word from Valve has been issued, and we’ll continue to monitor the situation as it unfolds, and will update you all once improvements are made.

If Steam is working for you (or not working), leave a comment below and let us know where you’re from.

If we get an update on the situation, we’ll update the article with the info.

Steam comes up just fine with all intact. I have only one Steam game that being TSC and it also works across the board just fine. I’m in the U.S. by the way. Is this a world wide attack? Also, I stay off line unless I buy something. I was offline when this happened.
