Stellar Blade PC Version in Development Alongside DLC and IP Collaborations; Stellar Blade 2 Being Considered
It seems Stellar Blade has done quite well for Korean developer Shift Up, as the studio has revealed that they are working on a Stellar Blade PC port, and not only that, but also considering developing the sequel (Stellar Blade 2).
This was revealed in a public filing by the company where the studio also talked about upcoming updates to Stellar Blade. According to Shift Up (translated by DeepL), they have plans to introduce “new playthroughs, including the release of DLC, the release of the PC version, and new IP collaborations. In the document, Shift Up shared that they have about 5-10 people working as “patch staff” for Stellar Blade, while the overall number of people working on it is at 98 people.

While Sony hasn’t released sales numbers for Stellar Blade, Shift Up has mentioned that it is “exceeding expectations,” which is definitely good news since it’s never easy to release a new AAA game, much less one that’s based on a new IP.
Just last month, Shift Up confirmed that we’ll be getting new outfits for Eve as part of its post-release support, but confirmation of IP collaborations is definitely something new.
Shift Up has already pushed out New Game+ for Stellar Blade, and hopefully, the next patch drops soon.
