For those hoping that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League would offer offline play, you’ll be disappointed to learn that the title will require internet, even when playing solo.

As revealed in its newly updated FAQ, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is confirmed to be an always-online title, regardless if you plan on going at it alone.

Yes, an internet connection is required to play Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League solo or via online co-op.

Probably not the best news to hear, but it does make a little more sense given that the title does seem to have a big focus on its online. In fact, the FAQ also revealed that the team is planning on releasing a number of post-launch updates that’ll include new characters and even expanded stories. A battle pass has also been confirmed, as well as in-game purchases.  

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have post-launch content updates to expand the story with new missions and earnable characters, available at no cost.

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League will have a post-launch cosmetics-only battle pass system to earn new outfits, emotes and other items to customize playable characters. Each battle pass will have free tiers available at no cost to all Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League players, along with premium tiers that will be available via an optional in-game purchase. Luckily though, the game will NOT feature any loot boxes for those worried. 

Elsewhere, for those curious as to what frame-rate the game will be targeting on consoles (Xbox Series, and PS5) the team has also confirmed that they will be targeting 60 FPS. No details as to what resolution that’ll run at, though if we were to guess, likely a mix of upscaling to 4K.
